Looking for old printed material about the lakes region

Hi, I'm in the process of opening a restaurant in Laconia, and I've had the idea to decorate the tables by laminating interesting old stuff on to them. I know I'm always seeing lots of old stuff here on the forum. I'm looking for anything from newspapers to advertisements to maps. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find some of this stuff. It would probably have to be stuff thats not rare or unique or valuable as I plan on pretty much destroying it getting it on to the tables.

The UNH Dimond Library Documents Department & Data Center (http://docs.unh.edu/)is a great resource for historical maps. Check out "Digital Collections' at the left. You'll find quite a bit available online.

I have seen reproductions of older post cards, prints and such at Hawkins Photography Gallery in Meredith opposite Post Office.

Bruce Heald, the bursar aboard the Mount, has compiled many, many books in the Arcadia "Images of America" series (the caption picture hostories that have the sepia tone covers).

He might be able to suggest a few images to scan that don't have copyright restrictions. Knowing how that publisher works, the author might have several remainder copies. See if you could work out a consignment deal with him.
