Nice looking boat Vita!.. I've seen it around before.. My father in law has a 28 checkmate in your area. Black with white/red pin stripes. You may have seen it as well.

We actually just pulled it out and dropped it off at Independent to have the old girl winterized. Took a quick ride first, I wish I was carrying more fuel... too short of a ride!!

I was behind you (over 150' :)) one time this summer from the graveyard to just about where Beckys Garden is. I was in one of those "outlaw" pontoon boats and you kept looking back I think wondering how the heck I was keeping up!

Next time I see you I'll introduce myself.

Dan- that was one of the funniest things I ever saw! I remember that day like it was yesterday- is that a big block pontoon? What a rooster tail!

I almost bought nitrous after getting blown out of the water by a pontoon boat!!

NoBozo, LOL! Yeah it's a pretty fun boat and it does get people looking at times when I am going right along. It's a 24' Manitou SHP V-Toon with a 250 H.O. Evinrude Etec hanging off the back. Top speed of about 53 + MPH depending on how many people, gear and gas. There is actually a couple of them on the lake. I know our forum friend "Codeman" has one that is very similar to mine. I enjoy the toon more than my Eastern or any other boat I have driven. It really is a great boat!

Vita, we also like to hang out around camp Tecumseh particularly on busy weekends and holidays. Boat traffic is always much lighter in that area. I'll look for you next year and say hello.

Dan, That is crazy- I would have to switch back from my 19P prop to my 23P to match that speed, but wouldn't have any acceleration!

I would love to check that bad boy out some day.
