File this thread under the "So what, a tee shirt means nothing category!" After all, it is not too uncommon for mugshots of muggers, rapists or thieves to show the perpertrator wearing a Harvard College tee shirt.
What am I getting at? Well.....last night's channel 4-5-7...all three local Boston 6-pm and 11-pm, network tv channels had a top of the news story on a 40 year old, white male perpertrator who was chased down and caught by two parking valets, at a very up-scale Boston condominium building, when he tried to highjack a nice expensive car, and allegedly stabbed a 61-year old, very well dressed, white woman in her hands several times with a knife.
The tv coverage included spoken interviews of the victim, her husband, and photos of the perp while handcuffed, in police officer custody, and very clearly wearing a black tee-shirt with large, bright white letters and art work for the LACONIA CLASSIC - Weirs Beach, NH.
Probably not the best advertising for Laconia considering how many hundreds of thousands of tv viewers must have seen that. Oh well....as Tony Soprano would say....what the heck....it's the person and not the tee-shirt....understand...capiche...so just fuggetaboutit! ....
