As I have posted previously, I make an annual trip to the lake for leaf peeping, but this year I am going to school online and need to have wifi access at the motel/hotel. I usually stay at Christmas Island, but they no not have WIFI, and I really need one that does, and hopefully on the less expensive end of lodging.

Try the Belknap Point Motel in Gilford. I know they have wifi and the rooms are cheap and clean.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already found out that even in October, the rooms at BP are over a hundred dollars a night. :(That is way too much for off season prices. I will stay away before I pay that.

It is too bad because it would have been nice to go there. I will have to call around and find out who has WIFI and take the better deal. BP is not it.

Hi...here are some rates for the NASWA resort, I have stayed there many times and it is my favorite place on the lake to stay!!! As you can see, many of the rooms are under $100/night. There is free Wi-Fi in the rooms. Hope this info helps!!!

The Naswa is a fun place. Bugs me that the cottages have single beds. The upper Inn has nice rooms, great views. They are very boat friendly, and free dock space to boot. If you're looking for places that are really cheap, I would suggest inland, not on the water. Both the Belnap and Naswa rates are pretty darn cheap for waterfront. The Naswa has a few advantages. The restaurant, the waterfront bar, closer to the action. You might even get a free rise on the Naswa's Sea Ray cruiser.

Note Wi Fi signal did not reach the Inn across the street. I could see it, but not access it. Don;t know about the lower units, you'd have to ask.
