Need some help - anyone know of a shuttle service from Logan Airport to Center Harbor or Meredith. I don't need a rental car for the time I'll be at the lake, 2 weeks, and can't seem to find a rental company that will do one way rentals. Short of taking the bus from Logan to Center Harbor, is there an airport shuttle, like Super Shuttle or the likes, that I can use to get me there? My plane lands at 11:15am and the bus from Logan doesn't leave until 4:40 pm. Hate the thought of sitting at Logan for 5 hours.

There is a shuttle bus service (free last we used it) that goes between Logan and Manchester airports. You could see if that would get you to Manchester to meet a better connection north to Rte.25. Search on Manchester Airport to find the schedules.

I use her limos frequently to go to NYC for the day, or to go from Logan to Laconia when I'm meeting my wife up at the lake after a business trip.

I use Flightline as I travel every week. They have shared service like super shuttle and deliver door to door.

There's always the bus, $30 to CH.

My son who is a college Senior is doing odd jobs this summer. Not sure if it is as cost effective as a bus but could be a whole lot more convenient going door to door.:)
PM if interested.

From Logan airport, the MBTA bus-subway is a short ride to the North Station-Boston bus depot, and the Concord Trailways bus stops right at the hardware store in Centre Harbor. North Station to Centre Harbor.....estimated bus travel time....3 hours ?, ett by car....about 2 1/2....distance, about 130 miles?

I second that...post the date and time of flight, and there is a decent chance you may receive an offer for a free ride.
I've been helped by members of this forum several times.

Just a quick correction here: the bus station is at South Station in Boston, rather than North Station. The Concord Coach stops at South Station after picking people up at Logan on its way north. The bus ride is not bad- I've taken it to Meredith which is the fourth stop after it leaves Boston (it stops in Concord, Tilton, and North Hampton before Meredith).

Thanks to all who responded. Some good suggestions which I will follow up on. My plane lands Saturday, August 15th at 11:15am, American. I took Concord Coach last year and it worked out great because my flight landed later than this year's. There's only 2 buses a day - 1 about 9am and 1 at 4:40 pm. I don't mind taking the bus but know I'll be crazed sitting in the airport for 5 hours waiting for the bus - knowing the lake is so close yet so far!

Actually I'm pretty sure you can catch the Concord Trailways bus *at* Logan and take it right in to Center Harbor. Its not a bad ride, I do the Concord or Tilton to Logan loop about twice a week.

Small world. I use Prince Limo a lot too. I've also known Stephanie since we were in first grade together.
