There's very little information on this in today's Citizen, other than that Gilford will no longer allow free access to their property tax data. It reports that a fee will first have to be paid to the town, before one can get information concerning property taxes.
Maybe the Laconia Daily Sun has a more detailed report?
Looking for more information here?

I suspect that Scott Dunn continues to looks for ways to keep the cash flow in favor of the town, his job I suppose.
When Alton contracted with Vision a few years ago I made sure that the on-line tax data base was available for free and without any required log-in. Also anyone can assess the tax data base in Alton Town Hall for free at a public use PC. A fee is charged only if you want a tax card paper copy for property that you do not own.
One would think that with Gilford’s bloated budget and tax rate they would not have to resort to a nickel and dime type of approach.

I believe that fee is for a printed copy at the tax office.
