Oopsie, I printed the incorrect mountain above. It is a hike going up Mt Potash....leaving at 9am....returning at 2:45 pm. Anyone looking for a small group, day hike in the White Mountain this Monday, June 15, about 9am? Here's a guided group out of Waterville Valley. www.wmadventures.com We need just one more hiker to make this trip happen. Mt Potash is located south off the Kangamangus Highway, up in Lincoln or Livermore. Contact Dan by email in his website.

Mt Potash is an advanced-beginner hike, about two hours up, 1 1/2 hour back down, or so, with a big view from the flat summit. There's a different guided day hike every Monday, all summer long, all for just $60. /summer, if you sign up before July 1, lead by an experienced & responsible 46? year old guy, Dan, a local english teacher from Waterville Valley. $60/entire summer is a steal of a deal considering that the regular price/individual hike is $30. when done on a one time basis, and Dan is a very knowlegable plant, lichen, & mushroom instructor and fly fisherman with real good communication skills.

It is 60 dollars for the whole summer which is about 10 different Monday hikes, from now till Labor day. You get the advantage of going with a small group of different people on hikes with carpooling and a knowlegable leader.

Today's hike to Mt Potash was cancelled due to not enough participants....which most likely was weather related.

Some people....for some wacky reason...do not like to hike up and down a wet, soggy trail? When the going gets tough.....the smart ones go shopping :D !
