...way to go BoSox....how about that 3-run homer in the 7th that just cleared the left field wall in the corner.....just not too easy to beat those Yankees...

All things considered, motorboat traffic seemed pretty low yesterday...usually the first good, spring time weather weekend gets the whole world of boating to show up for a Winnipesaukee ride...but not yesterday....so, where was all the new boating season boats looking to get splashed on a hot, dry, 80 degree, sunny day?

FLL,

When I passed the Meredith town docks they were almost full- mostly pleasure boats as opposed to fishing rigs. Given how early it is (VB is winter covered still), it was a good showing. A lot of people that have their boats in storage facilities have to wait until their boats get unburied.

There sure were a ton of bikes out!

I was surprised that I only saw one boat being trailered on 93 on my way to and from Meredith yesterday. We arrived at Shep Brown's around 10:30 and there were a few boat trailers in the lot. I suspect that people were home doing yard work like I should have been. That's what's on today's agenda and I better get back to it. Break time is over.

I think your going to see a huge increase in boat and all around traffic this summer. That is if gas stays reasonable, at around a high of 2.50/gal which I've heard predicted people will think that's a steal compared to last summer. Of course that's the people still working that is. :(

What a beautiful weekend on the lake. Picked up the boat on Saturday morning and spent the whole day riding the shoreline. Topped it off on Sunday by putting the Jet Ski's in and going for a short ride. If the weather stays like this, it is going to be a great summer. :):)

Was that you we saw out on The Broads? I bet those cold spots of air were chilling! They sure were on the boat.
