And this little guy was trying to eat my Euonymus (SP?) this morning. So Spring is certainly here.....
Sorry took this through the window with my $1200.00 camera. It was on auto and focused on the glass. Hey I was still asleep, so give me a break!:rolleye2:

There is still a little snow in my yard. Mostly on the shadowy side as that is where the least sun hits.
But I would say it will be gone by the end of the week. Almost 60 degrees tomorrow and rain coming. Yeah, it will be gone! The ice on the lake is slowly giving in to the warmth as well. That will take a bit longer to leave. But I think by the 15th- 20th of April....(My Guess!)

Yes, the glass is very clear. I can see right through it. Seriously though, that deer looks tiny. Is it a fawn or is it standing considerably below the deck area making it look shorter?

Deer are born in late May or June. That deer has got to be 8 to 9 months old. It's either standing well below the deck or it's abnormally small and very lucky to have made it through Winter.

Spring has sprung, as there are fishing BOATS out in Wolfeboro. Still ice out there, but boats too.

First...Yes. I thought the deer was small as well. It was considerably smaller than the other 4 that were off to the right. I thought it was too large to be a fawn but to small to be a yearling. Then I thought maybe breeding was a bit earlier this year. No it was not lower than the deck as there is only about a 4 inch lip there to the ground.

second....Yep there were boats out in Wolfeboro Bay. I thought it funny as someone mentioned in another post that would be boats out cheating on the ice line catching Salmon.....:D
