In Centre Harbor, the Home Comfort store is having a 70%-off sale starting on Friday.....that means the expensive stuff for a lot less. Today's Union Leader had a big ad....something about closing their Exeter store and re-merchandising the Center Harbor store with a new line-up.

It is an up-scale furniture and home furnishings store close to Heath's super market.

I have been in that store and they have great homey and nostalgic type of furnishings and accessories, but I'm not sure that 70% off puts them in my price range.

Thanks for the heads-up though. It might be a good rainy Sunday outing.

Well worth the trip......not the usual junk you find in store after store. Don't know if they still carry them, but we found beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee embroided towels ...perfect gift for anyone who lives on the lake.

Stopped in there this afternoon. Nice stuff, very campy, but NOT 70% off. Chairs are tagged in the $600-$800 range. Most tables are tagged over $1000. The accessories are 30% off. Some nice 5x8 rugs, normally in the $400 range, marked down to $280 range.
