These three wild turkeys decided to walk across the ice this morning between the West Alton mainland and Sleepers Island. We wondered why they didn't just fly over, but it is very windy today which may be why they decided to walk.

I will bet they continued on to Rattlesnake for the free food that on of the residents puts out every day!!!

It's nice to feed them problem is they get to dependant on an easy feeding. When it stops which someday it probably does, they need to re-learn how to fend for themselves.

not to mention they can be extremely demanding, bordering on combative, when they want something...
