View Full Version : Looking for summer boat storage.
I am looking to keep my boat stored in the Moultonboro area on it's trailer for the summer. I would prefer it was close to Rt 25 but not directly on Rt25(out of site…) so I can easily hook up to it and head to the ramp. It's a lot easier than trailering up from southern NH every weekend.
I have looked at the 2 self storage places in town and they do not offer outside storage. Any ideas?
It's a 24' bowrider on a trailer.
Anyone have a nice side yard they would like to rent out?:)

I've had my boat at shep browns for years for ramp storage,I also didn't want to trailer from So NH. I have found it both inexpensive and convenient. If I need any service I can get it done while I am at work and it doesn't need to be towed somewhere and easy to drop in and out of the water. One other thing never any theft which I had at another marina.

Thanks. Have you had any issues with the ramp being busy on the weekends? I really don't want to have a 5-6 boat waite every time to use a ramp. I have no experience with Shep's but I did hear it can get pretty busy on the weekend.
I did talk with them and the price was reasonable for being right at the ramp.

the good thing is only one ramp is public, the other shep browns only so I have never had a delay.
Good to know. I thought they shared the ramp with the public.
Nobody shoots poision darts at you when you just cut the line and use the private side while people are waiting? Boat ramps can get pretty serious!!!

I think independant marine allows for outside storage... Don't know if you have looked there yet.

I did, thanks... They do not offer in and out type of storage. Just long term.
