My wife was shopping at Jackson Star and someone there mentioned a truck went through the ice in Alton Bay. I see nothing mentioned here and so I wonder about the credibility of this story.
Thanks,
Eric

They probably meant this...

Close call to be sure! Be SAFE out there! If your going to drive your truck on the ice, make sure your windows are down and your seatbelt is off so you can get out quickly if need be....

Yes that is probably it, I watched from my bobhouse as Paul and another gentlemen work to move the existing snowbanks around the airplane parking area back so as to accomidate more planes for the carnival this Sunday. The snow ice under the bankings was soft and saturated with water and they had broken thru that layer but I can assure you that there is still over 20" of good solid ice in the bay, so come on out and enjoy the carnival.

Eric,
I might be headed down on the sled on Sunday with the kids. What is your plan? What about Mr. OHR?
Anyone have ice condition updates? I'm not so much worried about falling through as I am getting stuck in slush!!!!

OHR is out of the state for a week starting Sunday. My pool team is in the playoffs Saturday and if we win we also play Sunday so I will let you know if I am around late Saturday. I too am curious about the ice conditions.
