SAFETY CHECK POINT
Saturday January 10th the Club held an informational Safety Check Point at Davis’s Field along Moultonboro Neck Rd. We had the services of Fish and Game officer Brad Morris who did a patrol of our trail system. He was able to educate several riders during the course of his patrolling.

The thrust of the program was to make everyone aware of how fragile our trails use can be when abused by a few inconsiderate riders. We have had several land owners question the riding habits of some of the people who ride our trail system (their properties). We are discussing the possibility of holding another Safety Check Point in February.

Trail Conditions
Our trials have been holding up quite well over the past two or three week even with a lake of significant snow fall. We were able to establish a good hard base with two to three inches of packed snow. With the below zero temperatures last week the Lake has frozen to where it can be ridden (as all ways with caution). We received any where from 12 to 18 inches of new snow this past weekend. This should allow us to dramatically increase our trail base. The Groomers were out all weekend. The new Tucker is quite impressive. We have been getting numerous comments has to its’ abilities. We are still accepting Donations for the Tucker Groomer Fund.
