MEREDITH - Starting Wednesday, January 7, the Parks & Recreation Dept will host Men's Pick Up Basketball for ages 40 and up. There are no schedules, playoffs or officials. Play is governed by the participants. Participants will meet each Wednesday from 7 - 9 p.m. through February 11, and the fee is $1 per person, per session.

...whoops, forget to say it happens at Community Center...and no, the local ambulance service will not be standing by with oxygen and a defilibrator, so maybe you want to bring your own:D!

FLL, you may want to get back into doing pushups...might need that upper body strength for getting position under the basket.:laugh:

For adults, age 21 and up, Fridays from 7 to 9pm, will have " gym class' with kickball, capture the flag, dodgeball or floor hockey. Price: one dollar.

Babysitting classes are offered for $30., residents, and $35, non-residents, earlier like at 5pm or so.
