Anyone know the story of the boat that has been tied up at the public docks in Alton Bay for a few days? The web cam showed this boat rockin' and a rollin' with the strong winds and current during Satrurday's winds. But more importantly, with these colder temps I'd worry about a cracked block.

Like you, we have seen the boat there for at least two full days, but know nothing further. Maybe the owner will shed some light on the situation:rolleye2:!

Actually not really personal, but while running errands, I stopped down at the docks, and the boat is a Baja 275, with ice all around it, and actually has icicles hanging down off the sides, like the chine strips near the water line. The cockpit area is all open, with many leaves in that area, and a lot of tree pitch over the top surfaces of boat. No telling what is going on :rolleye1:.

I just happened to look at the webcam and saw two guys on the boat with the engine hatch up ... now they're gone, but the boat's still there.

Hope the pumps are working. Was just wondering: At what point does MP get involved ?

Well, I was just looking at the Alton Bay webcam and 2 guys were at the boat again, hatch up....then the hatch was lowered and one guy stayed on board, pulled away from the dock and motored off, looks like towards Parker or the boat ramp at the end of the bay? I know he didn't go up the bay because the camera would've shown him heading out past the bandstand. Still a mystery but at least the boat's being taken care of! :)

Maybe the owner does not know it is there...
Stolen from a marina?

Stolen from a marina?

Perhaps it was found adrift on the lake, and was brought there for safekeeping till the owner could be notified?

Perhaps he was waiting to get his Jimmy running again to tow it with...

Looks from the web cam that the boat is gone.

He can't wait that long for Jimmy to free up -- he's got to get his Toy o[u]ta there quickly before it freezes solid.
