Boat Registrations

I am waiting for my boat registration renewal application for 2009. Has anyone gotten theirs?
They are later than in other years, normally I get mine in October. A couple of years ago I didn't get a renewal.
My RMV renewals for Mass yearly plates were right on time. Deval must really need the cash
I'm in Massachusetts.

I am probably partially hijacking but you should know that Massachusetts Licensees will no longer receive a mailed notification of drivers license renewal. In an effort to save $800K the Mass RMV has eliminated this and several other processes from the mail notification way of doing business. For those of us with a bad memory and don't want to be reminded on our birthday, this is just swell news.

Got stopped in Mass. yesterday. Turns out I have been unregistered since Aug. Gun permit renewed 4 months late. Inspection stickers good. I ck. today. With all the paper work the government requires it's tough to get old. Sure would be nice if it was all due in the month you were born. When I forget that I should be denied all this stuff anyway!

But then, I never registered my boat this year, which equates to not using it, so I may not get a renewal form this year........... Something for me to keep in mind for the spring! :cool:

Our registration arrived either Wednesday or Thursday; I'm not sure which day because we didn't pick up our mail on Wednesday. :)
