Good evening friends,

Summer 2008 marked the inaugural season of The Summer Theatre in Meredith Village. During that summer, we held a total of 56 performances and by the summer's end, we received a total of 56 standing ovations. The kind of reception we were given last season was nothing short of remarkable. We strive to continue exceeding your expectations and look forward to meeting new friends this season! We want to keep professional theatre in Meredith alive.

This month, we are thrilled to present the regional premiere of Disney's High School Musical On Stage, November 20 to 23

where exactly is the theatre

The Inter-Lakes HS auditorium.

What makes this the inaugural season? Haven't they had it for 30+ years at least?

I believe this is the first season for the company that took over from the group that ran the theatre for many years. We went to a couple of shows this summer and the entertainment is first rate. High School Musical should be right up their alley. It's a bouncy show with a lot of good music. And next year's schedule sounds exciting. It's great to have lve theatre in the heart of the Lakes region!

My wife & I had the pleasure of seeing three of the summer productions. They were all great. We already have our tickets for High School Musical. I am sure we will not be disappointed. And we have watched the original High School Musical movie several times with our 4 grandchildren.

Long live live theatre in Meredith.

If you have never been in the auditorium, it's a totally terrific venue. Air conditioned in the summer....large sloping ampitheatre style seating with individual cushion seats...a stage large enough for a cast of 25 or so, which is a big cast.

Thanks to the hard working, property tax payers of New Hampshire's School Administrative Unit #2; Sandwich, Center Harbor, and Meredith, for paying the money to build and maintain this facility that is in its' own wing of the high school.

Admission to the playhouse ran about $25.00 each, in the past.
