Lake Winnipesaukee Swim

I just received the following letter, pictures and article about Maury's 20.5 mile swim:

Hello Don,

I have not gotten the time to post something on the Winnipesaukee.com
website forum about the swim I did across the lake but I attached some
pictures and the article that appeared in the Conway Daily Sun on Saturday.
It was a beautiful day. The water was fairly calm, the winds light, sunny
skies and we encountered few motorboats along the entire route from Center
Harbor to Alton Bay. All in all a spectacular swim and day to be on the
lake.

I can't begin to imagine doing something like this. I find that trip tedious and long...in a boat!
Swimming it? Not in this life time.
