I want to thank you, Krista, for all your hard work - Forum Fest '08 was a great success! The food was yummy, as were all the raffle items. It was a pleasure meeting some of the posters who frequent this website.
A big thank you, too, to Steve A., for securing the Loon Preservation Santuary for this gathering. What a beautiful and serene environment the Trail is - a place of awe when you consider it's history. Just wonderful ...

It was nice meeting everyone amidst the backdrop of the amazing Loon Center, and impressive array of food! Hats-off to you Krista, for a marvelous job of coordinating the event. You are nothing short of a professional event planner, and we all appreciated being on the receiving end of your skillful and thoughtful planning! You have inherited many of your great (great) grandfather's skills in bringing people and events together! The cake was unbelievable - an artistic testimony to the Fest! I concur with all comments expressed by other Forum members, thanking one and all for making this a most memorable event. Don, it was wonderful meeting you, as well, and being able to tell you in person how much your time and amazing efforts are appreciated. Best, Redwing

Thanks for the kind comments. It really was my pleasure to help out and I'm glad things went smoothly. It felt good to hand over the $770+ to The Loon Preservation Committee and I hope it helps them in their wonderful efforts.
See you all next year, if not sooner! :)

It felt good to hand over the $770+The total is likely a lot higher when contributions are added. I did not participate in the raffle but made a large contribution on behalf of the Web site.
Krista does deserve a bunch of credit for helping to make FFV happen. Thanks Krista!

I'm hoping that is a good thing. Actually for what you did for the forum fest, I know it is. :)
