Something funny happened at this raffle...

There were some folks at the Loon Preservation Center who were just there to see the sights. They hadn't come for the forum fest.

However, they decided to buy some raffle tickets. (We figured their money was as good as ours...)

Lo and behold... you guess it... they won something!

They were the proud winners of the cat poof bed!

It just kinda tickles me to think that someone who wasn't with the forum also bought tickets and won something.

I hope they check out our forum... they could be the first forum fest participants who became forum members AFTER the event! :D

It looks like R-Guy and I missed a great time.

Congratulations rrr you are one lucky lady to own two of Quilt Lady’s wonderful creations!

Nice job Argie’s Wife! Thanks for making ForumFest V happen. The Loon Center is a very worthy cause. Thank you Steve A for suggesting it and securing the location. This year’s raffle contributions look terrific – thanks everyone!

See you all next year at ForumFest VI!

but... all the credit goes to Krista.. without her it would not have happened.

All I did was make chilli! :fire:

rrr - did all the work on the raffle.. ( and won the grand prize.. )

I was very happy that Harry Vogel spoke. He really did a good job explaining what the Loon Center is all about. All present have a much better understanding of the Loon Center. We also learned that our very own Loon Center is considered the best in all of the USA! :)

I'm very proud to be a "Winni Forum" member. We did good this year. It was, and is, a worthy cause.

I knew I would be sorry if I missed the Fest, and I am:emb: But I had conflicting dates and had to choose one:emb: The last Fest I went to was a blast and I met some wonderful folks, so I knew what I was missing. Sorry I could not make but maybe the next one. Good Job everyone!

Curious...

Did anyone take a group pic of Forum Fest V, like the one taken at FF IV (http://www.winnipesaukee.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=11819)?

P.S.- Enjoyed the pics that were posted...

I don't think anyone took a full group picture this year at FF V. A lot of cameras and many pix taken though. I still have more FFV pix to post - more people. I'll try to post them soon but I am having computer issues.

I think I saw a photo of myself and Pineedles. That might have been the group shot but the 2 of us took up the whole frame.

Don took that picture of us. But being the computer expert he used computer trick photography to make it seem as if we are big guys. I'm only 5 feet nine inches and weigh 150 pounds.

I'm sure we could put that up for next year's raffle.... :D
