As a child in the 60's my Grandparents rented a cottage over labor day several times at a place called Puck a brush or something like that. To the best of anyones memory it was somewhere on the shore in Meredith Neck. As a adult I've not been able to find this place of wonderful memories. Does anyone know of or remember this spot? There were several white small cabins, a house or 2 and docks, I realize this describes hundreds of places around our wonderful lake. Puck a Brush, Puck a Bush or something that sounds like that is all I have to go on.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

There's a Puckerbrush Road in Campton, NH but there is a Puckerbrush Stables in Meredith... could that be it?

I grew up in Laconia. It's a common slang that my father and grandfather use to denote a fictional plant. They will even call the 'bogeyman', Jimmy Puckerbrush. Maybe your grandfather called the cottage Puckerbrush Cottage!
