Concord is about the halfway point on our trip up for the weekend. We often stop for dinner at the Red Blazer which we like very much (we miss not having the Tilton Kalliopes). Any other Concord places folks could recommend?

Kenny,
The Red Blazer is on Manchester Street. Continue out Manchester Street until you hit Rte 106 North. Take a left and go past the SteepleGate Mall. On your right will be Makris. Great steaks and sea food.
You can also get there via Rte 393 or Loudon Road.
Try it, you'll like it.

Just past the Red Blazer is The Cat 'n Fiddle. The best prime rib in Concord AND one of the few salad bars.

Isn't there an minimum age requirement there? ;)

Have you tried the Puritan Backroom in Manchester? It is just off exit 9s, about 15 mins south of Concord. They have great food. We love it there, in fact we ate there last night. Excellent as always.

If you're in the mood for Thai, try the Siam Orchid on the corner across from the state house and the Holiday Inn. We've never been disappointed there. Also, their dining room has an odd/amusing tilt to it, which always puts me in a good mood. :)
I'd also second the motion on the Puritan Backroom. Interesting place, that always seems lively - even later when most places are closing up.

Uh oh. With all these good suggestions, we'll just have to come up more often! Yeah, we can do that. :liplick:

The Barley House - right across from the State Capitol Building.
Great Burgers, good selection of beers, good service, out door seating.
They had a carrot ginger soup to die for when I went last - didn't expect such a dish there, but it was fantastic . Had it with a chicken sandwich special that was awesome.
With that said, I NEVER pass up a chance to eat at the Red Blazer!!! Have you had their alfredo? FANTASTIC - creamy, garlicy, yummy (and way better that that chain so-called italian restaurant I used to love but refuse to wait an hour to eat in simply because they serve all you can eat bread and salad.)
Pastry baked chicken is also amazing...I've had fantastic scallops there as well.
