Thank you for your time. I was wondering if anybody had been near Meredith Neck and Bear Island recently and could report on the Ice Conditions? I was planning on making the crossing from Cattle Landing over to our camp which is near the boys camp this Friday. I would be walking across with snow shoes but I know the ice can be quite funny in that area and I have not been up there for three weeks. Any new major ridges over near Mark? Is the ice pulling away from the shore? Any help would be great. If I can make it this will be the last trip via foot and before you know it we will all be boating again. :D
