Brookside Pizza 3 lost the roof. I don't know how bad the damage is, but the walls are pushed out. It really is bad, that building is not very old.

Its really bad WBB, its condemned! Me and the kids came home tonight and stopped to witness the damage just as the news 9 crew showed up! Said it was the only collapsed roof so far, and I even got an interview, so make sure you toon in at 11 tonight.

Top floor has blown out on 2 sides, roof collapsed in the middle. The building is only 3 years old, and I think they just finished the upstairs last spring. Any idea what time it happened?

WMUR reported that Irwin Marine had a Laconia boat storage building cave in under the snow.

Could not tell from the report if it was a little or a big cave-in, or how much damage or how many boats, etc?

"There is no word on how many boats may be inside or how many were crushed by the debris?" Laconia Citizen 2/28

So, who is the primary insurer, Irwin or the individual boat owner? Who does or does not pay to repair damages? Do boat insurance policies cover this? Did you pay that insurance bill?

Did Irwin make an effort to remove the snow? Knowing what I know, and with a pending storm, I know I spent two hours on Tuesday evening shoveling the snow off my Meredith roof and I was impressed by its' icy weight, and now it is again loaded with more snow.

Is today Wednesday or Thursday.....oops......only kidding,,,,,just checked and today is Thursday......all day! Here's to cabin fever....cheers!

And, is there really more snow, like 3-6" predicted for Friday night........naaaaa....never happen?

Irwins roof was worse then Brooksides from a "holly crap look at that" standpoint, but either way both buildings are most likely lost. Irwins walls actually blew out and the roof collapsed to the ground/boat level from what I've seen, while Brooksides 2nd floor walls bowed out and the roof appears to be resting on the 1st floors ceiling. Either way its quite a mess as I would guess a lot of people are getting new boats and Brookside may not make the Bikeweek grand opening. I wonder if the building they tore down to build then Brookside building would have made it?

WBB,

It's the storage facilty near Lowes. ( New Wave Sports, Jon's Deli) I stopped by to look at it today.. the road is blocked off w/ "Do Not Enter" signs... but you can see it from the access road. What a mess. Looks like a total loss.

According to the news it is the old/original building that Grossman's used to be in. What a mess for all.

Tarps have been hung on the Brookside Pizza Place and it appears work is beginning. I talked to "someone in the know" last week and they had hoped to take off the collapsed roof, winch the 2nd floor walls back into place and put on a new roof. Hopefully its that easy and they are open soon.

Anyone know if they have started on Irwins building yet?

The roof got shoveled off yesterday and there are chains holding the 2nd floor walls in place.
