Saturday morning, looking out at the snow-covered lake, I noticed that the snow was covered with pock marks, each perhaps a couple of inches wide, and spaced randomly every 2-5 feet apart, going out as far as I could see. I saw no such holes in the snow on the deck. It looked as though the last snow was in the form of snowballs rather than distributed snowflakes. At first I thought it might be sun cups, but then I thought that would be more in a bright sun, melting situation, and then the cups would have been rather close together. Anyone explain this? CLA?
