Has anyone else noticed that both are FOR SALE!!!!!! Hopefully, they will not be converted, but that seems like the way things are going.

I foresee that this means that Alton Bay as I knew it as a child and as my children know it now is on its last legs. Once the pavilion went condo, it was only a matter of time before the rest of the Bay went with it.

My boys love that mini-golf. I have played there every summer for as long as I can remember - at least 40 years if not longer. How terribly, tragically sad.

Alton Bay was the last hold out of how things used to be. Now it will all indeed just be memories. Sometimes change is not always the best thing.
