What a great time of year - crisp days, colorful trees, and lots of ghost stories!

Just finished reading an article about ghosts (http://www.citizen.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071028/CITIZEN_01/710280061/-1/CITIZEN) - it mentions the Alton Town Hall - very cool.

I bet some of the posters here have some good yarns on ghost stories - I'm starting this thread so you can share yours.

(I can't wait for the responses - I love a good story!) :)

I don't believe in them and have never had anything happen to me. Hopefully this post doesn't prove me wrong.

Very interesting story, I will definately try to find the book mentioned in the article, sounds interesting. I love this stuff, especially this time of year...
Never had an experience of my own (and certainly don't wish to have one anytime soon), but it still fascinates me, and I definately believe in spirits.
Thanks Argie's Wife!

I'm not going down this road again this year. Last year we told our then 6 year old daughter about the ghost in the middle window of the marketplace, and then someone went in and opened up the shade in that window. She wouldn't go down to the boardwalk for a week after!
