I turned on my hot air furnace last week for the first time this season. I started getting flue gas smells in the house. I checked out the furnace and found I had holes in my heat exchanger. Making a long story short, I need a new furnace. I have been thinking about using NEWFOUND Plumbing & Heating in Bridgewater. Has anyone used Newfound Plumbing before? Can anyone recommend a good boiler/furnace guy or company in the Sanbornton, Laconia, Tilton, Meredith area? Also, has anyone had a Thermo-Pride furnace installed?

Although I have not used Newfound I have heard good things about them. I have used Sealy plumbing and heating and were very satisfied with them. They are out of Meredith.

There is a fella who used to work for Wolfeboro Oil and is now on his own. I can't remeber his name, but he has a good reputation and LOW overhead. I have his card at the camp and will get it tomorrow and post the name and number. Can anyone help me with his name????

Thanks FL Boater. Yes, that is the name I was thinking of. I'd give him a try.

I had a Thermo Pride furnace installed by Dutile Oil (Laconia) last winter. They did a very nice job and the cost was pretty reasonable.
