What's up with the Snake Eyes Cam tonight? Looks like some kind of fire on the right of the screen. :eek: Is everything okay?

I'm trying to upload the photo but this doesn't usually work for the computer-inept like me.

Lightning strike? I'm not in NH; how's the weather there?

Maybe somebody lighting off fireworks?

They were planned for last night but it was too windy.

I forgot about the webcam and yes it was the fireworks!!! They were great.. such a nice evening for them.... warm and the most important..calm!

Does anyone know why Rattlesnake cam is off line, it is my daily dose of sanity at work.

It should be back online tomorrow. Not sure what the problem is.. there is power and phone... so the cam must have missed a beat and did not recover as it should. Thanks for asking

We've had several power glitches here in West Alton recently, so I suspect that could be the cause of the Snake Eyes camera and/or modem hanging. Hopefully IG can resolve things with a simple reboot.

Thanks for your patience. Snake Eyes is back.

There have been continuing issues with the cam over the last year. Stay tuned.. I will announce a campaign to replace the cam with a more reliable camera and hopefully network.

Thanks for all you do on our behalf Island Girl.
I tell my neighbors that I can see my camp on Cow with Snake Eyes and that I can see when they try to pilfer logs from my wood pile. I think it keeps them away.
