Hello Timber Island Family, welcome to the forum!

Timber Island transactions got very confusing. I attempted to collect the dates and names for a friend.

Get into the old index books at www.nhdeeds.com
(Belknap County of course, but you already knew that.)
On the Belknap County Index Search Page, search the following books and index pages using the top document search option. .
It seems to not matter whether you are in Grantor or Grantee and the year doesn’t seem to matter either.
If a document is too light to read, zoom in and it will darken up.

Hopefully the following information will help fill in some of the blanks for you.

Book 27 page 247:
John P. Smith sells 110 acres to John p. Smith Junior - June 3, 1856 (Note - not the whole island.)

Book 80 page 464:
Alfred Roberts sells 135 acres to Melvin C. Roberts - February, 1889

Book 80 page 288:
Sarah Sanders sells 135 acres to Alfred Roberts - January 23, 1889

Book 148 page 210:

Book 196 page 121:

Book 264 page 374:

Wow, it sure gets confusing with quick claims and with the changes of descriptions - good luck!
Please keep us posted. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished timeline.
By the way, nice website. Be sure to add it to Winnipesaukee.com’s Lake Links!
