Anyone? Especially for a mobile home?
I need to eliminate some very buzzy sounding bugs in my walls and mice.
I woke up to a gnawing/scratching sound (hence the 4:50am post) .
It seemed to be coming from inside my walls. Now mice have been a problem ad infinitum for me, but I adopted a cat and that problem seems to be diminishing, but INSIDE the walls is not a place my cat will go.
I knocked to see if I could scare them away, then listened,.....HOLY COW!
The flurry of activity I set off was dumbfounding.....perhaps winged ants or worse yet, termites?
Anyway, my bedroom is not a place I want to have buggy encounters so I need a professional.
Anyone know somebody or had a good experience with both a bug and rodent exterminator?

We use J.P.Pest Services out of Milford....but that is for commercial applications and I don't know what it would cost for your situation. They do lots of business' in this area.Won't hurt to call and get a price 1-800-222-2908.

I have been using Felolfi Pest Free Management for several years. I've been very happy with their service, prompt, clean, reliable and relatively inexpensive. I have a annual service contract with them and they come by on a regular basis for preventative maintenance, If I have a particular problem they are right out to take care of it also.
Their main number is 603-884-8100. Tell them Charlie T from Gilford told you to call

Try Colonial Pest Control. A service contract will cost $280/year for twice-a-year application in the Lakes region. Or, you can do a "one-time" application for $140. I've done both. They exterminate anything. The service contract is a guarantee -- if you notice a problem between applications (Spring/Fall), they will show up and re-do at no cost. Although they won't return for the "one-time" service, I've found that if they go after the critter you identify, the critters end up very dead anyway. Very reliable. 800-525-8084.

I use Felolfi Pest Free Management also with an annual contract, we had carpenter ants inside the walls (my daughter called me when she heard crunching inside her bedroom wall) and they come immediately with no questions, and keep coming back till it's fixed. I've now been problem free for the entire summer.
Plus they are just nice people, never give you any attitude.

Sounds like bees, good luck.

Can someone recommend an exterminator for carpenter ants in the Wolfeboro/Tuftonboro area? I noticed them again this weekend even after swapping out the sill and a bunch of roof boards last fall. These are tough to get rid of!

Usually they like water/moisture.I found some in a wall that had water damage. When I fixed the water issue the ants went away.Make sure the water problem has been addressed first. They might still be there if the wood is still wet.Or then again, maybe I don't know what I'm talking about!

We used Value Pest Control at the recomendation of Wolfeboro Lumber. They are located in Alton but cover the lake area. 603-875-3558. Kim will answer the phone. Dean DeRoche is the owner. They responded very quickly for our carpenter ant problem and also provided advice on which posts/boards to replace when my husband starting replacing rotted wood in our screened in porch. He spent alot of time educating us as to what was water damage and what was insect damage. Very customer oriented- highly recommended.

I have had great luck with Ortho spray from the harware store for ants. We had them BAD two years ago. I sprayed the foundation, inside and out and the bottoms of the walls. Next weekend I think I about filled up my vacume cleaner with dead ants. The next year all it took was a quick spray and hopefully the same this year. I saw a few this weekend so I sprayed again. Lots cheaper then calling up the pest control people but then again I am a DIY type of guy.....

Mirror Lake Thanks for the lead. That sounds like my type of company. Chris Craft, what type of Ortho spray? Ortho makes a lot of products. I'll probably try it myself one more time and if that doesn't work I'll go to the pros Mirror Lake suggests. Thanks!!!

Try these guys too. We have a seasonal contract with them and they'll come back at no charge if the buggers "break through" the barriers. Call Mark at 603-279-4810.
