Found these two videos of airplanes landing on Alton bay, one from the cockpit and the other from the ice. Pretty neat.

That is cool. I am wierded out driving my sled over the ice I can not imagine a plane!! What amazes me is that camera guy on the second one just stands there!!!:eek: :eek:

If that first landing is only "slightly dodgy", I wonder what's considered really dodgy ? :eek: :laugh:

"Really dodgy" means that they take you away in a stretcher.;) When I was flying, any landing I could walk away from was a good one.

And a good pilot was someone who had an equal number of takeoffs and landings!;)
