This years first real snow storm has claimed its first auto. At 10:50AM on 12-30-06 the new snow in Tuftonboro caused a car to slide of the road and into the lake at Twenty-mile Bay. Luckily, there were no injuries. The auto may need a little help. See attached photo

If you resize your picture to about 640 x 480 pixels, you will have a better quality picture that you shouldn't have to scroll L-R and up&down.
try that and see if you don't get a better pic.
Cool shot, non the less.

We left today at noon and it took 4 1/2 hours back to Westford. 20+ pile up on 93 south between exit 18-20. Sat for 2 hours. See should have stayed through the new year!! Best to all!!

I drive for a living. I still believe that people go stupid during the summer and forget how to drive under wintery conditions. It shouldn't have to take "a couple of storms" to re-understand winter driving. We live in NH, it should be in our DNA. Why all the unnecessary damage and injury? If you can't handle the conditions....don't drive. I have been driving for 40 yrs and never had an accident in the snow, and I am out in the worst weather. I took my driver's license test in the worst storm of that winter. I see every day how stupid many of todays drivers drive. And THEY are the ones injuring and killing the good drivers. Thanks for letting me vent. Happy New Year to all! :)
