Being an avid race fan, and realizing I am probably going to want to get away from a cold camp this Saturday night and warm up. Does anyone know of a Bar or Dinning establishment that will be likely to have the Race on Saturday night.
Thanks

I'm not sure exactly what race your referring to -- but if it's televised -- Patrick's Pub would be one of your strongest possibilities -- (you might have to ask for one of the TV's to be switched to the channel of interest-- but if it's sports of any kind -- that shouldn't be an issue)

You might want to call the folks at Christmas Island Steak House. They often have the race on and a good race knowledgeable group on Sundays. I do not know what they do with Saturday night races.
Good luck!

Try the Gringo at the Weirs, they have a few tv's, but maybe you can con them into putting it on the big one. Oh, and did I mention the cheap draft beer?

I've heard the folks that took over the old track in Belmont on Rt 106, have a great set-up for all sorts of TV coverage... and several restaurants/bars
Check out in the restaurants thread.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Cup Race? (That's NASCAR Nextel Cup for those who don't know, lol -- those of us race fans always just assume EVERYBODY knows what we're talking about :D )..... I would check with Christmas Island, they used to always have races on...........

Do all Nascar drivers have 2 first names? (Ricky Bobby, Billy Joe). That must be fun sitting in a bar with a bunch of race fans, you know they're all related somehow. I tape the races so I can play the tape in reverse and watch all the cars make right hand turns.
