Hearing of the impending nuptuals made me think of a scene from an epic movie.

Mac can you name this picture? "Even the curtains?"

Best wishes to a wonderful couple.

And Mac. Just remember, once the knot is tied, it is time to assert your control. You no longer have to say "if you say so", or "if that's what you want to do", or "I don't care...whatever you want is fine with me". No siree, you can put your foot down firmly, look her squarely in the eye, and in your most manly, demonstrative, and authoritative voice, because of the power thereby invested in you at the nuptials, can state without any equivocation: " Yes Dear!". :rolleye2:

You shall be the boss of the family, the CEO of the relationship, and will continue to be able to do so as long as she continues to give you permission to say so and do so. You know, big decisions like going to war, paying the taxes, mowing the yard (that one can be iffy...you don't think it needs it, but she does. When in doubt, see the last two words in paragraph 2.) :o

Again best wishes.

Should you two decide to wed in your birthday suits, may I suggest these accessories?

Mac:

You have been unusually quiet. What gives? Normally we would have heard from you by now. I am hoping that the normal wedding jitters haven't sent you on your way to Mexico.

May those who love us, love us.
And those who don't love us,
May God turn their hearts;
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles,
So we will know them by their limping.

Best wishes for perfect day and a wonderful life!

Hola ! So there I was, 1/2 way to Cancun and I stop to check the Forum and what to I see. Well gee people ... thanks for all the sentiments ... I don't know what to say (yup, there's a Kodak moment if there ever was one). I'm sure "Mee" would have something better to say (and no doubt will have. You think I'm bad, well let me tell you that girl can talk ... ouch ! that hurt). OK, so where was I. Oh yes, wedded bliss, yes. So in less than a week, short of Sir Lancelot coming in to save, err ... ruin the day, "Mee" and "Mac" will really be Mee&Mac in a loving (and legally binding) way. ;) What with cable coming to the islands and flying suidae (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suidae) all over the skies, I figured it was time. I am told she will be keeping the inflatable mannequin she got during her bachelorette party (they named him Woody for some reason) but might be losing her last name. I'd put my foot down on this issue but it would probably end up some place considered anatomically improbable, if not downright impossible. As the sign in the florist shop said, "He may rule the roost but she rules the rooster". (Note to self, ask UTS exactly what that means). Since I've heard a picture is worth a 1000 words, here's one that some think is so apropro ...

Add my best wishes to you two.

Once your name change is official will you be changing your screen names here? Will it become Mac and Mrs Mac? Or Mee and Mr. Mee? Or are you going to hyphenate: Mr. and Mrs. Mee-Mac?

Enjoy many many years together.

You couldn't have asked for better weather and that moon was absolutely fantastic for your voyage back to Wolfeboro.

Well RG I tried to get some help in getting you a full moon(s) picture butt I got got behind a line waiting at the bar. Thought I could fit throught a crack in said line to pass the word butt twas not to be. ;) However thanks for your efforts in shadowing the Belle, hope it was worth your time. We have some pics (I handed my camera to friend and said "fill the card") and haven't had a chance to review what was taken. Maybe when it rains a bit later this week I can get the time and wait for the glacier-speed dialup upload to finish. The weather was perfect and the full moon cruise was the icing on the wedding cake.

On that note I have to say everything wedding-wise done by the Wolfeboro Inn was just right. Things went off w/o a hitch, the food was amazingly good, the staff was professional and friendly and nothing was left undone. The ride on the Belle was great. People are quick to complain when things go wrong, here's a case were everything went right. Kudo's to Hillary and her staff at the Wolfeboro Inn. We also have to make special note that the flowers by the Lion's Garden in Alton were exceptional. Those are "Mee's" words and she's not easily impressed when it comes to flowers. We can highly recommend both of the services above.

Glad things went well and again congrats to you. I can echo your (Mee's) thoughts on the flowers...We have gotten flowers there several times. BTW, I think the name is Lion's Garden. We highly recommend them, and they also have a nice gift shop there. They are located at rte 140 and rte 11, across rte 140 from the Gilman Museum. And no, I don't have a financial interest in the business:D Just like to see nice things said about nice folks and businesses in my town.

Not to be confused with the Lyon's Den (http://www.winnipesaukee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2982&highlight=Lyon%27s)

Yup, the mis-naming is now corrrected. I knew it was Lion's something and I guessed Den because, well, it seemed a good guess. I figured lions live in a den (OK, mebbe small lion cubs might) and so Den was good. Forest or Plains or Savannah could also have worked but I didn't think they were what I almost remembered. But Garden ... well it goes with flowerery stuff for sure and I guess a lion could live in a garden but I'm sure the other lions would make fun if it. Probably the owner wanted to go with Den but didn't want to be confused with that other place ... yaaa, that's the ticket .... didn't wan't to be confused. :D So that's my story and I'm stickin to it ! ;)
