Well only a few more weeks before the boat gets wrapped. Now that the public docks have manageable crowds, I can get a dock, but it seems like a lot of restaurants have closed. Anyone know if the following places are still open and will they be until Columbus day?

JP China
Sibleys
Pop's
Garwoods
Jo Greens
Guiseppes
Town Docks
Waldo Peppers ;)
Gringos:confused:

If I could ever get a dock at Center Harbor is there any place to eat this time of year? Anyplace else I should give try now the crowds are gone?

JP China Always open
Sibleys I assume Shibley's at the pier --still open
Pop's Closed Labor day
Garwoods
Jo Greens
Guiseppes
Town Docks
Waldo Peppers ;)
Gringos:confused:

That's the Alton Report Note: Dockside in Alton Bay is open as well, and Sandy Point is open on weekends til Oct 12th (I think that's the magic date)

I'll add that Guiseppe's is always open as well and I think Garwoods and Jo Green's Cafe are too. Certainly they were open last weekend. The Town docks are on limited hours (http://www.thecman.com/HTML/TDox_Pop1.html), not sure when they close for the season. I'd have to check when Shibley's closes, probably not until Columbus Day. Not sure about what stays open at the Weirs and Pepper can speak to WP's closing date this year (http://www.waldopeppers.com/intro.htm) (Does the website FAQ needs a little updating ?).

Yes indeed, my website needs updating, in a HUGE way. Trouble is, my webmaster has been very, very ill for the better part of a year and a half. He's now recovering (slowly) from a series of very serious surgeries, and over the winter months our site will be brought into the current century. ;)

That said, here's the deal on our schedule as it stands right now ... We're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11AM to 8PM, Fridays and Saturdays from 11AM to 9PM and Sundays from 11AM to 7PM. That schedule will remain until probably the weekend after Columbus Day, and then we'll be gone till late March.

With regard to Gringo's - I believe they plan to be open year round. :)

Guiseppi's is definately year round for sure. Not sure at all about Town Docks.

Re: Center Harbor. Canoe is open year-round and you can call them to pick you up at the docks (I believe that service is still being offered by Canoe).

Yes JLGirl --

Canoe will run down to the Town Dock in Centre Harbor and pick you up. You simply have to call them "once your there at the dock".
