Some relatives are coming to NH to visit, never been here before. We plan to take them on the Mt Washington dinner/dance cruise that is the Lobster Fest event. Has anyone done this? Comments appreciated... is this an "all you can eat" type of event ??

we have been on the dinner/dance cruises three times over many years. the first two were great. food (rst beef and lobster) and music were awesome.
however, the last time several years ago we took friends for a chicken dinner. the food was awful. maybe things have changed. but i would keep away from the chicken cruise!!

We've done the Lobster Fest cruise (this year excepted) for the last few years. I can't eat lobster but I'm told it's OK. I can say the other food is OK but not in the "Canoe zone" of quality (nor would I expect it to be). I think you get a ticket for 1 lobster per person so that part is not all you can eat. Still if you like music and have a good crew, it's a blast. We weren't able to do this year's Lobster cruise but just did a 60's night cruise instead. Funny thing, I did have the chicken and it was good. Go figure. Best seats in the house are by the bar at the stern. Fast service, no waiting and AC if it's hot & humid. It seems we always have the same 1 man band playing (on the dance floor in that section). He's been a lot of fun and by now he recognizes us
