I'm thinking about taking the boat out on Sunday if the weather holds. Is the NWZ officially over? My friend in the Lakes Region has told me that the water levels have dropped rapidly during the past week. Thanks for any input in advance.

Thanks for any input in advance.I don't know if the NWZ restriction has been lifted or not, but Winnipesaukee has only dropped about 5" during the past week.

The declaration didn't give an expiration date so the NWS stays in effect until repealed. I'm sure as soon as it is, it'll be posted here. While the lake has dropped, the rains expected today and tomorrow may freeze any further losses for a bit :( I've sent an e-mail to the help desk (http://www.winnipesaukee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3278&highlight=calcutta) in hopes of stopping any further rain but I'm not holding my curry laden breath while waiting ;)

By Sunday you should be fine. Feel free to take your boat out. I've been cautious right around the shore recently due to all the concern, but once you get out a bit it is business as usual. At least that is what I have observed in my travels. Enjoy the lake.
