Webmaster, I'm curious about the volume of traffic on the site, for example, # unique visitors each week, average number of new posts each week. I suspect the traffic goes up quite a bit during certain times of year. Is it easy to get/post that data? Thanks.

Here is some basic information from the past 7 days. This report includes all activity on winnipesaukee.com, not just the forum.

Posts per day on the forum varies greatly depending on what is going on. During the speed limit debates, ice-out time and when the lake is in the news activity soars. Here are the daily post counts from the past 7 days:

It is also interesting (to me at least) what time of day most people visit the site. As you can see from this graph the winner is (and has always been)...lunch hour.

One more tidbit for your entertainment. These are the countries that visited the site so far in May:
United States
Canada
Poland
Bulgaria
United Kingdom
Netherlands
France
Germany
Australia
Belgium
Switzerland
Italy
Norway
Brazil
Romania
Finland
New Zealand (Aotearoa)
Israel
Ireland
Austria
Japan
Mexico
The "What's Going On" section at the bottom of the forum index gives a nice snap shot of forum activity at that moment. As I look right now there are 103 people viewing the forum (12 members and 91 guests). On May 7th at 11:07 am we hit a new high when 401 visitors were viewing the forum at the same time.

Thanks, Webmaster. Without your love for this baby, it would not be the thriving cross section of life here. A big thank you! :)
