New to the list and to power boating. I picked up a 1960 17' HiLiner this winter but know nothing about the boat or manufacturer except that it was made in Ipswich MA. Anyone know of other owners that I might connect with to get copies of original sales materials or owners manual, or just to chat about the old woody? I need some parts, too, if you know of a salvage place I might be able poke arround.

We've got a 1970 HiLiner 222, but it's plastic. Easier to deal with, but not the same feel as wood on the water. As I had heard it, ours was originally bought when the company, in the Manchester area, was in bankruptcy. They had the boats all laid out in a field where our neighbor scooped it up. It is still a solid boat, although without frills, so I would say that the company never cut quality, even on it's way down, they just eliminated items like instrument lighting and pretty interiors.
