Please add yourself to our map on Frappr (http://www.frappr.com/winnipesaukeeforum). It should give an interesting view of where everyone is located. After the map fills up some I can embed it in other pages so please add a "pin" for yourself. :coolsm:

Note: Be sure to click "Show rest of markers" under the map to see everyone!

Howdy from Virginia. I posted my pin from Gainesville, Virginia. My fishing buddy and I will be at Winni for two weeks fishing starting Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. This will be our 12th year. Can't wait. :liplick:

Something very strange I just noticed. In the list of people there are folks from Colorado, and Illinois, but there is no pin showing on either state. Did something go wrong when they signed up, or is my map not showing properly? Plenty of other pins show, particularly in the Northeast, but also in Florida and Texas and Arizona and Virginia, so I assume my display is correct.

What's up with that? :look:

I see my pin in Loveland CO -- wonder what's up?

update: I figured it out -- at the bottom right corner of the map, it says "50 of X markers shown"
Right next to that is a link titled "Show Rest of Markers" if you click that link, everyone shows up!

Something very strange I just noticed. In the list of people there are folks from Colorado, and Illinois, but there is no pin showing on either state.Since I can see them you may seeing an older cached version of the map. Try clicking reload/refresh while holding down the Ctrl key. That will load the page and map from scratch.

Also note that there is a "Show rest of markers" link under the map. The program only displays the first 50 until you click that link. I'll check the settings tonight to see if I can remove that initial limit.

Keep in mind that Frappr is a 3rd party site and a beta (being tested). It's not perfect but I thought it might be fun.

This map is a great idea! I wonder if there is a way to designate
which members are actually "Winni Islanders"? I mentioned
this at the "Minni Fest". Is it possible? As my "long gone"
Aunt would say, "Think on it!" LI

After moving a month ago from New Durham, I find myself sadly missing ice-out and mud season. But a job's a job and they do have some good fishing in Florida:)

That was great! But I must say it was hard to put my Massachusetts home pin on the map instead of my real love Alton Bay. Are we also allowed to put a pin in our Winni homes?
