View Full Version : boat tv reception
My new boat has a TV and the slip has cable, so no problem. But when I'm out on the lake, I have to rely on the antenna, which the boat has. Will I get any stations?
Why would anyone want to watch TV on the lake, you say? Well my wife is a Red Sox nut, so if we're anchored somewhere and I'm swimming or fishing, she will be much happier if she can see them crush the Yankees.

I don't know how you're going to break this to your wife. :rolleye1:
According to my schedule ALL the Red Sox games on TV are on NESN! NESN to the best of my knowledge is not OTA (over the airwaves)!
My suggestion, get a good radio antenna. WEMJ used to carry the Sox I don't know if they still do, you might try either the Red Sox website or the WEEI website to find the affiliates!
Glad I'm not you when you tell your wife :emb:
But on the other hand don't worry, most of them are night games! :-D

The only channel I've ever been able to receive clearly is channel 8.
