I was checking out all the cams in the "wind and wave watch" section at around the same time this evening. I had very much the same thought!

It's simply amazing how calm and peaceful the lake is right now, and how beautiful the images being recorded by all the various cams around the lake!

This views from the webcam shows why I love it up there. Living my whole life in Queens, Ny,where you have car alarms, sirens and noise, when I go up there its a total different world, peace quiet and the people are soooo much nicer up there than they are in NY, dont get me wrong people are nice here but the lakes region holds a special place in my heart, that I go to 3 weeks each summer. The webcams make me feel like I am up there all year round even though I cant be up there.
