This has to be one of the best sites on the web for those of us living here. I, to my shame, can spend hours on the site and keep finding new things. I just want to give a shout of appreciation to those who keep it gong, keep it easy to use, keep it packed with both interesting and useful information, and keep it "clean"! Thank you for all your hard work! Thank you to all who contribute to making it such a great site!

Today I happened on the link:
http://www.bizer.com/bztnews.htm#lakelevel (http://www.bizer.com/bztnews.htm#lakelevel)

It was so impressive to see the spike on the chart at the bottom showing last autumn's flood levels. (This flood, for the first time in 17 years, filled our basement with over a foot of water just from ground saturation. We are now the proud owners of not one, but two, embedded sump pumps installed with the hard work of my husband and our neighbor!).

Also, I went on from there to view the current monitoring charts created by the NHDES. Once again, cool stuff!

So, I just want to say (as one who is deeply involved in writing and maintaining web sites and therefore understands) once again to the techies behind the scenes as well as all participants on this site, someone needs to every once and a while say, "Thank you for all your diligence and good work!" :)

I agree. It is a great site for anyone that enjoys the lakes region. The webmaster works hard to moderate the forums. He works hard both on the hardware and software. He keeps the messages civil. I'm sorry to say he had to delete one from me on April Fool's Day because it was in questionable taste. He reads all of the posts and reviews all the pictures. This could be a full time job and not just a hobby.

My Thanks to the webmaster and anyone who helps support this site.
