Ice-Out on Lake Winnipesaukee was officially declared today, April 3, 2006 at 2:47 pm. :)

Have to say I'm amazed at the amount of ice still showing on the FrontLawn and Waterfront cams! I would have thought that all the wind and rain, combined with water temps would have melted this days ago!

Only off by less than 48 hours. Not bad considering I am in New Jersey and was taking a totally wild guess! :look:

A lot of that ice was in the broads and would be what the wind pushed, and pushed, and pushed into Chestnut cove / Roberts cove over the weekend.
