The recent Autopac museum post got me thinking about my almost 15-year-old boy who is really into cars right now, so I'd love a list of Lakes Region car shows or museums I might take him to and wouldn't mind periodic updates as I often lose track of the calendar.
Thanks, all!

Ever get to Boston area, there's the www.larzanderson.org in nearby Brookline, Mass.
Is similar to Castle in the Clouds, type of building.
I have several antiques/classics and use this site to find shows and cruise-ins.

you can look for events by state and calendar
it is obviously early in the season for this, so expect more shows to be added as the warmer months approach...

WOW!, talk about posting a question and getting an ANSWER! That was one of the best answers I have seen on this site.

Curious what you (and others) have. I have a 66 Mustang and am always fantasizing about adding an old Bronco or late 60's/early 70's muscle car (Camaro, Chevelle, Olds 442, GTO, Barracuda, etc) but the prices are too high for me.

When gas prices started going up, I traded it for a Jeep CJ 5.....what a dope!

18784Oh how I hated working on those when I was younger, but I had a buddy of mine that had a shop in Cambridge and that's all he worked on. He made a ton of money just working on bugs. He could change a motor in an hour.

There are still mechanics that specialize in these bugs. In San Francisco, they're a very practical get-around car...Just not one like this. One parking ding could ruin your day.
My girlfriend had a'67 convertible about 15 yrs. ago. Lots of fun. Leaked lots of oil. I've often wondered where it is today. It could be at the next car show at The Tilton Diner, or in Mexico.

He was never the same, messed up in the head from brain trauma. :(

https://y2camaro.com/shows.php looks like a great source for car shows. Thank you! Anyone know of a similar site for antique motorcycle shows?

Curious what you (and others) have.
Currently my daily driver is an '82 Volvo 244 Turbo, with an '86 740 Turbo available as backup: both cars in nice condition.
Kicking myself for selling some of the cars I owned previously, including a '68 Camaro RS and a '70 Challenger R/T: at one time they were "just old cars..."

That is a little bit trickier, but I attend a lot of Antique Motorcycle Club of America events. I host a camp and ride the weekend before Bike Week (june 5-8) in Moultonborough. You are welcome to stop by or attend. We will likely hold an impromptu show at High Octane the Saturday of that weekend. There will be an event or 2 during LBW that I will post when the dates firm up! We have our national meet in Greenfield MA (August)

The FCP Euro website and Facebook page list several European-only cruises.
Lime Rock Park is an excellent destination! I take the back roads through VT and Mass. Make an incredible drive. Stay at the numerous B&Bs located around the track. Even get to drive on the track!
Buy your parts from FCP Euro. Incredible lifetime warranty on all parts, including wiper blades and filters!
