Does anyone know what's going on with the Kona? It looks like the property changed hands last year for what seems like well below its market value (2.5M).
I haven't heard anything about this in on the forum or seen any news articles. The last piece of major news was a proposed development about 5 years ago that seemed to die quietly.
Anyone have any insight?

Although I do not know what plans may be in place, you got me curious about the sale price. 2.5 is ridiculously low, for sure! I did a little research and found additional info...
The current owner is listed as:
Kona LLC, with Scott Perdue as the sole member:

There's a promissory note filed the same day of the sale, $4,500,000 for the entire property. Considering it was last listed in 2018 for 7,000,000, this brings it back to reality:

Scott is a realtor, and has the boathouse up for sale right now. Choose the drop down arrow next to "Listings" to see it:

Thanks for asking a great question! It gave me something interesting to do during some down time. :)

Some info here… I know the link is a five-year-old thread from Reddit, but there are some comments within the last year by someone in the know…

Sounds like renovations are underway?

thanks for digging into this!
something seems off about that reddit thread. most of the recent posts are from reddit newbies, and they're very light on details but big on hype. Lots of "I just heard the plans today and must say… you are in for a treat."
not exactly sure whats going on there but sounds like they're going for something. want to generate interest/buzz.
