April is almost here: time for the 16th annual Taste of the Lakes hosted by the Laconia Altrusa Club. Mark your calendars for April 2 from 3pm to 5:30pm at the Winnipesaukee Exposition Center. Here is a list of the participating restaurants, so you might want to sharpen your forks:

Tickets will go on sale on March 1 and are available from any Altrusa member, and the following locations:

Hector's in Laconia
Quick Laundry-Laconia
Laconia Savings Bank-Laconia
Winnipesaukee Expo Center-Lakeport
Coldwell Banker Residential-Laconia
Laconia Electric Supply-Laconia
Laconia Weirs Beach Chamber-Laconia

Tickets are $25 per person, and NOBODY under 21 years of age will be admitted. This means no infants/babies in strollers.

...for the info. That sounds like something worth taking the drive over 100 miles for. Plus it gives me an excuse to visit the lake before ice out.

Where is the Winnipesaukee Expo? I know it's in Lakeport, but what is the exact addresss? I've never been there before.
