I remember watching similar boats racing on Winnipesaukee in the 50's. I'd guess at the Weirs. The bay wasn\t crowded then and all sorts of events went on, racing water ski shows with Dick Binette, other things that Jim Irwin Sr. promoted and we, as Irwin customers, were invited to participate, usually as pickets or part of the Safe Boating Week parade sponsored by the Boston Herald-Traveler. along with other cabin cruisers.

Couldn't access that page. Is this the same 40' CC that was for sale at the NHBM Auction in July? Did it sell at the auction?

The 40' CC got no bids at the boat auction. I'm guessing the yearly docking, marinade and storage fees cost about what you could buy it for
